- the use of gerunds: I like learning English,  She hates doing the dusting, etc.
- the vocabulary of housework: lay the table, clear the table, do the dusting, do the shopping grocery, etc..
- conversations: ask for permission  fomal: May I....?  informal: Can I ....?
